Module 1 : (over 2 days) 15th & 16th February 2025

- An introduction to how Bowen works/terminology.
- The Bowen ‘move’.
- The manuals and how to use them.
- Practical hands on experience of the Basic Relaxation Moves (BRMs).
- Kidney procedure
- Head procedure
- Client assessment and consultation
- Insurance as a student/paperwork
Module 2: (over 2 days) 22nd & 23rd February 2025

- A re-cap of all procedures from module one and new procedures of the shoulder, hamstring and cramp.
- Further assessment of the client and towel technique!
- Guidelines for case studies
Module 3: (over 2 days) 12th & 13th April 2025
This will include:
This will include:
- A re-cap of previous modules and new moves of knees, pelvis and sacral, wrist and elbow.
- Speed of making the Bowen move (1-2-3) SLOWY.
- Focus will be positioning of the hands and pressure.
- EXAM paper and first 3 case studies.
Module 4: (over 2 days) 24th & 25th May 2025
- A re-cap of previous modules and new procedures of the upper respiratory, TMJ, hammer toes, bunions.
- EXAM paper and next 3 case studies.
Module 5: (over 2 days) 5th & 6th July 2025
- A re-cap of previous modules and any procedures student concerns.
- New procedures of the gallbladder, chest and coccyx, N.E.S.W
- Exam paper and next 3 case studies
Module 6: (Over 2 days) 16th & 17th August 2025
- A re-cap of BRMs and procedures learnt in previous modules.
- New procedures of 5a + 7a medially, bursitis, perineal
- Exam and case studies.
Module 6a REVISION: (over 2 days) 27th & 28th September 2025
- This covers all procedures learnt and the run through for the practical exam
- Any remaining case studies
- Exam paper.
- Discussions on safeguarding, A+P
- New procedures of bedwetting and buttock pain procedures.
- Any concerns or procedures students wish to practice/final questions prior to Exam – module 7.
Module 7 and exam 4th October 2025
- Practical Exam covering all procedures
Module 8 - 10th & 11th May 2025
